Certified Dog Trainer & Group Class Instructor
Melissa has always felt a connection to dogs that she never could explain. This passion was ignited when she adopted her first rescue, Billy, to which she quickly came to learn and appreciate the quirks and rewards that came along with a bit of love and structure.
After Billy’s sudden and unexplained loss, she decided to finally pursue her dog training dreams as a way to better connect with the other rescues that she took under her wing, Finn and Jasmine, who both cope with extreme anxiety with different manifestations.
Melissa knew with a bit more expertise, she could help grease the road to guide them in living their best life. She loves to help everyone find this path with their dog and completed her certification at Catch Training Academy.
Melissa works full time at Merck developing digital analytics capabilities. When she’s not working or spending time helping dogs, she enjoys hiking, kayaking and a good bonfire.
