Would give 10+ stars if I could - the experience start to finish was stellar. The team got us set up and into a board and train program very promptly, taking time to explain all the details and answer my questions. Our 2 year old doodle girl Junie was nervous and lunging at cars on walks, jumping up on guests, and very wary of other dogs. Michael, Courtney, and the team provided Junie with an amazing three weeks of guidance and reassurance - it was clear from the videos she was making progress, and we love having them so we can continue the training at home. We have gone from 5-10 min walks where we both got overwhelmed, to relaxed 40 min sniff walks around our neighborhood, more calm greetings when people enter the house, and more confidence greeting other dogs in the neighborhood. The patience, knowledge and personalized attention Best Paw Forward applied to Chester's training was above and beyond what we expected. This isn't just training to alleviate the "symptoms" but to understand the root cause of certain behaviors to overcome them fully. As a 2-year-old mixed breed rescue dog, Chester had some unique training needs. We wanted to be sure the training program we chose wasn't just for puppies and BPF definitely has the knowledge for training through various situations. They listened to our concerns and needs, and worked with Chester to help him become a calmer, happier and less reactive/anxious dog. After 3 weeks of day-school training, Chester improved his manners, leash skills, listening skills and more. *Update: 2 years after we started training with BPF and they're still amazing. Most dogs attend for 3 weeks, but programs can range from 1 to 4 weeks based on your dog’s needs.

Leash pulling, jumping, reactivity, poor recall, basic manners, social skills, and more. We can discuss specifics during your free consultation.

We cannot work on human aggression or separation anxiety in board and train.
